Welcome to the official Ards Youth website. Ards Youth are a junior football club based in Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland. The club provides soccer coaching for boys and girls from the ages of 6 up to 16 years. We now have over 350 members and the numbers continue to grow each season. We presently have 11 football teams representing the club in the NIBFA National League, Lisburn Junior Invitational League, George Best Castlereagh League and South Belfast Youth League. The Club Management Committee thanks all our sponsors for their continued support.

On Sunday 7th February, Ards Youth Under 10s were invited to take part in Tullycarnet Community FC Festival of Football in partnership with the Castlereagh Co-operative insurance Games Development Centre held at the Hanwood Centre. The Tigers group consisted of 4 teams. Ards Youth, Creagh Wanderers, Carryduff Colts and hosts Tullycarnet Community FC. The Tigers won their 3 group games and were the only team out of the 8 teams to take part to go undefeated in the Festival. Well done to the Tigers some very promising displays of football and another great performance by all the boys involved.
The venue for the Under 14's match against a North Dublin League Under 14 Select Team has now been changed to Seaview; kick-off 2.30pm on Wednesday 30th December 2009.
Well done to the Under 17s who today made it through to the final of the Lisburn League Shield. They beat Tandragee 4-1 on Saturday 12th December 2009 at Wallace Park in Lisburn. Their opponents in the final will be Glenavon who beat Crusaders 4-3. Everyone in the club wishes them good luck in the final.
The management and players from Ards Youth Under 10s send their best wishes to Tiger Ben Rutherford who is currently a patient in the Ulster Hospital. They all hope for a very speedy recovery. Get well soon Ben; we all miss you.
Well done the Iain Hannah's Under 12 team who gained their first victory of the season in the NIBFA National League. Their unfortunate opponents were Limavady Youth who were defeated 2-1 at Dairyhall.
The last night of training before Christmas will be Wednesday 16th, with no training on Wednesday 23th or Wednesday 30th December. We start back again on Wednesday 6th January 2010. 
Thanks to everyone who supported the "Night at the Races" in the Huntsman Inn, Newtownards on Saturday 24th October 2009. Over £2000 was raised which will go towards end of season football trips for five teams.
Congratulations to Harry Ritchie's Under 13s who won their first league match of the season today by beating Castle Juniors 3-2.
